The most common parts that need replaced (in the defrost system) are the defrost heater, the defrost thermostat, and the adaptive defrost control or defrost timer.  It is best to shop around for the best prices from reliable stores that sell refrigerator or appliance parts.  If you need the parts fast, you may have to pay extra for next day or overnight delivery.
I like to compare and/or order online because I get to compare prices from different parts suppliers. When ordering online, double check your numbers! If ordering in a store, check your parts before you leave the store.  Make sure you have the correct part numbers that you looked up.  If they differ, ask the clerk if it is because of a different manufacturer or other reason.

There are many stores that sell refrigerator or appliance parts.
